Top Nestlé Executive Joins DESSO Board

Former Nestlé regional director, Alexander Collot d’Escury, has been appointed chief commercial officer of leading european carpet manufacturer DESSO.
Collot d’Escury will oversee global sales and marketing operations at DESSO, having spent the last 13 years at Nestlé working in a variety of roles including general manager of FoodServices Netherlands and regional director of Purina Petcare for central Europe. He is also a member of the advisory board of the Hogere Hotelschool in Maastricht.
His arrival is a considerable coup for DESSO, which has three manufacturing plants in Europe. The business resumed trading independently in April 2007 when a majority shareholding in the company was bought by investment firm NPM Capital.
